Yuri Yakovlevich Krolenko is an Honorary Citizen of Kharkov, awarded the Orders of Merit I, II and III degrees, the Badge of Honor, the medal For Conscientious Labor.
The high professionalism of Yuriy Yakovlevich Krolenko as the head of a construction company is marked by a large number of prestigious Ukrainian and international awards, the main of which are:
- 1988 – Prize of the Council of Ministers of the USSR and the title of Laureate for the construction of the Ulaanbaatar air terminal.
- 1998 – Honored Builder of Ukraine title.
- 2002 – Golden Mercury International Award
- 2002-2004 – Laureate of the Regional rating project “Kharkovite of the Year”.
- 2013 – public insignia – the Order of the Patriot of the Fatherland.
- 2013 – Honorary distinction of the Kharkiv Regional Council “Slobozhanska Glory”.
- 2018 – Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 5th class.

In 1961 graduated from the Kharkov Institute of Railway Transport Engineers with a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering.
He began his career in 1961 in the construction department No. 2 of the Pavlodarstroy trust. He worked as a foreman, foreman, senior foreman. From October 1964 to August 1968 – senior foreman of the construction department No. 1 of Trust No. 86 of the Kharkovpromstroy plant. From August 1968 to July 1978 he was a senior foreman, chief engineer of department and head of department No. 435 of trust No. 86.
In July 1978 he was nominated to the position of chief engineer of trust No. 86 of the Kharkovpromstroy plant and worked in this position until June 1983.
From 1983 to 1988, by order of Glavzarubezhstroy, he worked in Mongolia as a chief engineer at the construction of an air terminal, a radio and television studio and many other facilities in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar.
